Ancestor Tomb

A screenshot from the game Elder Scrolls Online. It depicts the entrance of an Ancestor Tomb, located in Vvardenfell. The entrance is carved into the surrounding rock. It consists of a stone arch which surrounds a stone door. The door is shaped like the arch. There is a stone slab in front of the door, which is shaped like a rectangle, but with jagged edges. Left and right of the door are small planters, which are extensions of the stone arch. They contain blue, fluorescent fungi. The atmosphere is calm and a little bit eerie.
Back in the days of TES III: Morrowind, I both loved and feared the ancestral tombs. The whispering sounds inside always told me one thing: this place was haunted.
When ESO let me return to Vvardenfell, I stumbled upon the Releth Ancestral Tomb at night. Even without entering, its atmosphere pulled me in—and for a moment, I could almost hear those whispers again…
